There are as many realities as there are humans! Have you heard that one before? Maybe, but what about making do day by day? Do we not go through our lives with the certainty that everyone sees the same thing as we do? Here is my little reflection of the day on the issue.

Before, when I worked in a large multi-national company, serious and solid, I mainly rubbed shoulders with people who were evolving in the same world as me and consequently shared from near or far my vision of reality.

Then one day, finally, I should say, my vision of the world changed. It changed so much that I was just out of place.

Yoga made me see the world from a different angle, my reality changed, and in a very subtle way. First, I became a more conscious consumer, then a new dimension was born in me, that of my inner world.

Again, in a very subtle way, my relationship to myself, and my relationship to the world changed. I looked at myself from the inside, I cleaned up, I got rid of my old patterns, my blockages, my fears, my certainties.

At first, I thought I had found the truth. I finally understood the world, the reason for life on earth, and most of all, the path we all, humans, had to travel to realize.

My associates have also changed over time. The true friends of before remained my friends, others, who surely were also true friends, moved away, simply because the vision of our reality was too different from each other and we could no longer coexist in harmony.

It was unsettling at first and then I accepted it. My circle of friends has taken on a different color. As I grew up, I met new people that were different from the ones before.

For the record, the other day, a man asked me for friendship on FB, and I accepted. He then left me this message “Welcome Simone, to my time string! Jean-le-Gnome “followed by a string of more and more delirious EMOJIS. Loved it.

So here I am in-between those friends evolving in the business world and those doing so in yoga and spirituality, but it doesn’t stop there.

Since I signed up as a volunteer for an ethical, organic and sustainable tea room / grocery store, another, new world has opened up for me. That of sustainable and especially local produce on the Place de Genève. The number of people and associations of all kinds bustling right next to us for a piece of our world, or at least a better Geneva is incredible.

There are two great achievements that I wanted to share with you – the first I have already told you, what we see as the reality of life is none other than our very subjective one that is shaped by the life we lead.

And the second, which will also be my final message – let’s keep moving forward, let’s meet the others, there is a gold mine full of little nuggets much brighter and more sparkly than the others just next to us.

What a beautiful trip life is.

With love.
