I would like to share with as many of you as possible all the beautiful wisdom, I have come across over the years and which all, in their own way and at different times, have shaped who I am today.

The following masters, books, videos “have, are and will continue” to inspire me. We never stop learning, growing, discovering, changing, evolving … uncovering the mystery of life is my passion in this life and will most probably also be for my next life.

A venerated saint of modern times, Swami Sivananda is the inspiration behind the international Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres. Born in India, he served for many years as a medical doctor before renouncing worldly life and establishing the Sivananda Ashram in 1932.
Author of multiple books out of which I recommend “Thought Power” by Swami Sivananda to start with. It beautifully explains how to take back control and master our thoughts.
“Health is wealth. Peace of mind is happiness. Yoga shows the way.”
A world authority on Hatha and Raja Yoga, Swami Vishnudevananda was sent to the west in 1957 by Swami Sivananda to spread the teachings of yoga and the message of world peace. He established the first Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in 1959 in Montreal and less than four years after the Sivananda Yoga Camp in the Quebec mountains.
Swami Vishnu understood that to attain universal peace, we must first establish peace within ourselves, and worked tirelessly to share this message by teaching practical and philosophical techniques that foster inner serenity.
To start discovering the beautiful yogic philosophy, I recommend: “Yoga: Your Home Practice Companion” by Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre.
Another beautiful reading from Swami Vishnudevananda is “Meditation and Mantras” to discover the secrets of meditation.
“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have.”
Spiritual Teacher of modern times and author of the bestseller books “The Power of Now” and “The New Earth”.
These books are full of life wisdom which will nourish you on your journey towards yourself. Start with the Power of Now, keep it on your bed-table and go back from time to time as depending of what you are experiencing in life at a particular moment, you will read and understand different nuances at each reading.
I invite you to watch extract of The Power of Now “Acceptance and Surrender". Please shut your internal little judge off and simply let his words come to you.
Dr. Vasant Lad
“Ayurveda is the art of daily living in harmony with the laws of nature.”
He is a world-renowned expert on the practices and health benefits of Ayurvedic medicine. I highly recommend “The complete book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies” by Dr. Vasant Lad which provides a holistic explanation of what Ayurveda is and provides hands-on remedies for a healthy lifestyle.
A shorter version summarizing the essence of Dr. Lad’s book is “The Wisdom Within” by Deepak Chopra.
To give you a short intro of what Ayurveda is, I recommend to watch “Intro to Ayurveda - Dr. Indu Arora” on You tube.
“Do not try to fix what ever comes in your life. Fix yourself in such a way that what ever comes, you will be fine.”
Sadhguru is considered a Rishi, a Saint, who has achieved enlightenment, and whose mission is to guide humans on their evolution towards achieving their own enlightenment.
I will not share a lot about him, you need to discover him yourself…
Look him up on You Tube, there are many talks of him, one more inspiring than the other. Likewise with Eckhart Tolle, make sure to listen with your heart and not your brain.
There is an interesting debate around Yoga and Ayurveda and how it correlates with modern times and science on You Tube “Ancient Wisdom in Modern Times - Dr Deepak Chopra and Sadhguru”.
He also is the author of numerous inspiring spiritual books like "Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy" which I highly recommend.
Dr. Deepak Chopra
“The best use of imagination is creativity. The worst use of imagination is anxiety.”
Dr. Chopra is a journalist, a medical professional and a doctor. He is considered an expert in the field of mind-body healing applying the Ayurvedic wisdom. He is a renowned speaker and author on the subject of alternative medicine. He initially practiced modern medicine before turning towards the ancient Ayurvedic medicine.
In addition to his books on Ayurveda, I particularly enjoyed “The seven spiritual laws of success” which is an easy read giving us simple principles for a fulfilled life. It is in the same spirit as the “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz which is another beauty I recommend to anyone.
Dr. Wayne Dyer
“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it is always your choice.”
Wayne Dyer is another inspiring figure whose talks and books are always uplifting and motivating to become a better version of ourselves. His main teaching was around the law of attraction and how to materialize the life of your dream.
I particularly recommend “The power of intention” as well as to watch this short You Tube video “5 lessons to live by - Dr. Wayne Dyer”.
My utmost inspirational masters are my two children who give me unconditional love, energy and endless joy.
Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of Knowledge, Music, Art, Wisdom and it is the spiritual name I was generously given by my yoga master.
